Most people who try to track their money give up within weeks. Spreadsheets take too long to update, and many finance apps ask for your bank password or show ads.
We wanted an app that made logging an expense as fast as paying for it, and that kept the user in full control of their data.
We built Genobills as a web app that works on desktop and phone. A calculator-style keypad logs an expense in seconds, with categories, tags and favorites for recurring payments.
Budgets warn you before a category hits its limit, goals suggest how much to set aside, and the People module lets partners, roommates or friends keep shared accounts in pesos or dollars.
Data can be imported from and exported to Excel at any time, with no ads and no bank password required.
Genobills is live and free to use at tracking-bills.vercel.app, with iOS and Android apps on the way. It's also how we test our own process: every feature goes from idea to design to production the same way we build for our clients.
